Pierburg has developed a special CWA 100-4 coolant pump for battery-electric vehicles (BEVs).
However, Mercedes-Benz is also retroactively installing this coolant pump as a replacement in a whole range of vehicles with conventional combustion engines.
The Pierburg pump replaces the originally installed pumps from another manufacturer.
This means that vehicle applications are increasing enormously. The fleet corresponds to several hundred thousand vehicles.
